What makes us great?

What makes us great?

There are a couple of things that distinguish the common people from the heroes. We, the common people, are vulnerable to change of disposition at any time the situation changes. We, the common people, at whatever cost bring forth our steadfast love for the family in silence. We, the common people, utilize only our own resources, thinking “What else is there?” because like all common people, we have nothing.

But what makes us great?

We are great because at whatever reasoning we use, we, the common people, fool ourselves through the pains of reality; thinking of feasts, in times of hunger. Singing and dancing to forget the extreme burns of poverty. Having faith in dangerous times, we are great because we can fly without wings. We are great because we see in dim light though they think we are blind.

Our stellar wishes make way for breathing space in tight places and events of life. Our own suffering gives birth to our high ambitions. Our ambitions fuel our spirits. Our spirits: the only thing that nourishes our want to survive.

Our survival is our proof of greatness.

Everyday is our heyday displaying strengths of great heights. Strengths nobody believed we had. We use democracy to put forward the demise of one rising abusive power. And if needed, we, the common people, sacrifice our own life to voice out what the others cannot. To give temporary ease and comfort to the burdens that is brought about by our country’s dirty politics.

Sacrifice makes us great.

Change is susceptible to the common people’s power. Yes, it is true; it’s our fault that we have people who used strong sophistry in authority. But like any great people, we use our mistakes, to learn. We stand up little by little. We may step a few back but our movement forward is inevitable.

We are great because we it out with everything that they have thrown at us. We fight them out with all that we have even if we are to use are own creativity. We are great because are once again waking up from our state of somnolence. Our solace is coming; it is just beneath our stellar wishes.

What makes us great? We are great because we are common. Our oneness will trounce the abusive. We trow and work through common ideals. We, the common people, stand in one foundation. We will pert for the common good. We will breed ourselves to become our own saviors, heroes, protectors. With all that, we are great. Enough said.
